We have an exciting leadership role for a Facility Director for one of our most important sites.

As Facility Director, you will be responsible for delivery of FM contract within contract and Honeywell performance requirements. You will have overall responsibility for delivery of the service in a manner that meets contract and Honeywell health, safety and environment requirements.

This is a pivotal role and key activities you’ll undertake to fulfil the objectives of this role will include:

  • Oversight of service delivery activities and contract deliverables.

  • Maintaining overall financial control of service delivery.

  • Holding direct reports to agreed financial plans.

  • Forecasting and analysing financial performance to provide margin improvement where possible.

  • Providing guidance to the team on delivering to contract requirements and milestones.

  • Leading delivery of Refurbishment and Lifecycle programs in accordance with Asset Management strategies

  • Liaising with client representatives, customers and service recipients to ensure customer satisfaction levels meet or exceed expectations.

  • Measuring and reporting service delivery performance against agreed critical metrics and site service objectives

  • Management of spot and renewal work as required to a high standard in accordance with the booked margin and customer requirements

  • Managing work load, improving processes and systems, client liaison and escalation, and working with other areas within Honeywell to deliver high quality service to our client.

  • Working with peers, other departments and customers to meet mutual goals and objectives

  • Building productive customer relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction.

  • Establishing and maintaining high standards of performance for self, direct reports and others to maximise the team’s ability to meet business goals and objectives.

  • Facilitating the development of others’ knowledge, skills and competencies by providing timely feedback and planning relevant development activities.

This is a significant leadership role and to be successful you will ideally hold relevant qualifications in a technical or commercial discipline. Your experience will be in complex facilities management service delivery and should include credible PPP experience ideally within the Healthcare/ Hospital/ Clinical sector. You will hold exceptional staff management and process improvement skills; strong commercial skills and broad exposure to technical issues. You will have the ability to work in a challenging environment with a mix of infrastructure, equipment and systems and a wide variety of client groups and your Project management skills will be well-developed.
