As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for Design, Engineering and Commissioning management to drive high quality outcomes on assigned projects. This includes the designing of Access Control, CCTV and Security systems, engineering, executing deliverable, co-ordinating and delivery commissioning and completing project handovers.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with and reviewing sales designs including take offs, point schedules, specification reviews, labour profiles, scope of works
Preparing full system designs based off specifications, drawings, scope of works including system architectures, product selections, bill of materials, design documents, samples
Prepare full engineering documentation including wiring schedules\diagrams, points schedules, system schematics, panel layouts, ITPs, commissioning documentation, subcontractor scopes
Complete configuration of security systems including CCTV configuration, head-end configuration, intercom configuration etc.
Co-ordinate subcontractors on site for the delivery of their scope
Co-ordinate commissioning resources based of ITPs and complete head-end commissioning
Prepare handover documentation including O&M Manuals, As-built drawings etc.
To be successful in this exciting role you will be qualified in a technical discipline and or hold equivalent ‘on the job’ experience. You will have a high level of computer skills and your experience must include similar engineer experience within the security sector. You will be self-driven and someone that can both lead others to deliver outcomes and deliver the outcomes yourself. You will have strong communication skills, ability to manage and prioritise multiple work fronts and have a high level of technical skills in electronic security.
