Summary
This role is designed to be the next step in the NMO Technician job progression. This may include activities such as intermediate level testing, troubleshooting, repairing, or refurbishing with foundational understanding of the sub-systems involved for the projects. This position also supports engineering, prototypes, development, or production requirements for primarily low volume/high mix of electronic, mechanical or software related products while complying with workmanship standards and demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the work they perform.
Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrates experience and ability to perform basic technical work activities.
Demonstrates electrical/mechanical skills and abilities.
Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to accurately record results.
Learns from project leads/subject matter experts while demonstrating technical aptitude.
Uses equipment, techniques, and tools necessary to complete tasks.
Participates in teamwork related activities without expectation to demonstrate any informal leadership skills.
Understands basic documentation and drawings that define the work being performed.
Performs work under close supervision/direction while learning self-direction.
Engages in minimal interactions with Honeywell customers.
Understands the basics of Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).
You Must Have
High school diploma required
2+ years of experience required
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (job description and job posting)
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
United States Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Electrical Assembly
Generator / Engine Work (Gas/Diesel)
AC (Brazing, EPA 608/609 Certs)
Multimeters, gauges, torque wrenches, pneumatic power tools
MIG or TIG Welding
General enterprise/systems experience & Microsoft products (Teams, Outlook, Calendar, Excel, Word, PPT)
ERP/MRP
Hydraulics
Dynomometer
IPC-A-610 (inspection standard electronics)
IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Practices and requirements for the manufacture of cable, wire and harness assemblies)
J-STD-001 (Standards soldering on electrical and electronic assemblies)
Experience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
