Customer Experience covers all Customer touch points for Customer Service and Technical Support, from placement of an order, tracking a shipment, installation, use, support, and product replacement. HBT has a broad contact center footprint that covers the Customer Experience globally.
The Product Owners primary focus is improving the Customer Experience, driving adoption, and generating business value for Honeywell. This role will work closely with the Business and Technology teams to advance our use of technology platforms to achieve the business strategic and annual goals. This role will be responsible for the vision, roadmap, development, delivery, and value realization of the solutions for requesting a quote, generating quotes, and automating the conversion of quotes to orders.
This position requires business interface, high collaboration with other Product Owners and participation in a structured MOS across the LOBs to ensure effective solutions are in place and operating effectively.
The Configure to Order Product Owner is responsible for:
o Assist Salespeople and customers in the configuration of individual products and combination of products for specific customer needs
o Provide easy to use methods for customers to request a quote
o Help Salespeople generate quotes and approve them through a schedule of executive authority
o Streamline methods for customers to receive and process quotes
o Simplify the acceptance of quotes and generating the associated sales orders
Develop and execute a Roadmap using the latest design approaches, technologies, and agile processes
o Develop a product release plan that aligns with and delivers to the needs of Customers, Commercial Excellence, and Customer Service
Drive the continuous improvement of the Configure to platform
o Continuously review the current performance of the platform
o Continuously monitor the platform KPIs
o Generate corrective actions and prioritize into the backlog along with business improvement user stories
o Work with Honeywell software vendors to prioritize Honeywells needs into their product backlog, eliminating as many of Honeywells customization needs as possible
Strategic and Annual Planning
o Must understand the vision and goals of each of the business units and develop strategies and annual plans to meet those goals
o Align budgetary investments to achieve maximum return for the business group
o Ensure internal stakeholders needs/expectations are met and promote transparency though effective communications
o Create regular project progress reports covering: accomplishments; schedule performance; cost performance; and measured business outcomes for all projects
Agile and Waterfall Projects
o Lead the team in consistent approach to both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies to assure the highest level of success for all projects
o Creation and ongoing management of a User Story backlog that meet the Business goals and Customer needs
o Ensure User Stories are ready for development work including clear and measurable acceptance criteria
o Daily collaboration with the Agile development team and quality assurance team
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience with product developing solutions for product configuration and quote management
2+ years of experience leading a globally dispersed team
2+ years of previous working experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on Agile projects
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and an ability to influence
