Honeywell is seeking a Content and Storytelling Writer to bring our connected story to life through compelling, B2B-focused marketing collateral, thought leadership, and digital ads. This role will work on an internal creative team of writers and designers dedicated to content ideation and production for marketing efforts around software and hardware products/services. From writing thought leadership articles to sales presentations and video scripts, this role calls for a multi-dimensional writer with strong agency-style copy, storytelling, and journalistic skills.
• Content Copywriter
o Write compelling copy for marketing collateral across digital, print, and experiential applications.
o Work with subject matter expert to distill complex technical products into audience-friendly messages.
o Work with digital marketers to create copy for social and digital ad campaigns
o Interface with visual designers to bring the collateral to life.
o Understands the Honeywell Design Language System and acts as a steward of the brand
o Gain a deep knowledge of our products and services to create compelling, audience-centric stories that resonate with B2B buyers.
o Work with executives to produce thought leadership and journalistic pieces for media placements
• Creative Ideation
o Work with designers and marketeers to architect creative strategies and approaches that move the needle.
o Propose content and help with business adoption
o Collaborate with agency partners to ensure quality, fit and finish
• Content Strategy
o Work with the team to devise, evolve, and oversee content strategies for product and services.
• Works across a variety of creative workflow/collaboration tools like Teams, Workfront, Adobe eDAM, and more.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, creative, English, branding or related discipline required
5 years of experience in broad-based agency/journalism activities
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite
Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills
Experience in a corporate or agency environment a must
Creative solutioning the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into digital solutions
Understands Brand Guidelines and how to ensure projects bring the brand to life in inspiring ways
Understanding of agency capabilities and process
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Content strategy experience a plus
Instructional design, presentation and facilitation skills a plus
Project management skills a plus
Visual design skills a plus
Technical/IT experience a plus
