The Inside Sales Representative role is responsible for driving sales for specific customer accounts or region. You will achieve increased sales targets from existing accounts/customers aligned with business initiatives. You will increase sales by recommending new product offerings to existing customers. You will be responsible for increasing the customer base and influence cross-functional teams to eliminate barriers to sales success. You will drive new customer leads to outside sales. You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems. You will analyze sales statistics and business needs to provide recommendations to customers and stakeholders.

The salary for this position is ($56,200 - 84,400). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Time Allocation in the Future State Sales Motion

  • 25% Identifying and penetrating new customers and markets

  • 25% Growing and expanding spend in existing customer base

  • 40% Support Order Processing Function

  • 10% Supporting customer sales inquiries

Key Responsibilities

  • Build or elevate brand presence in the hospitality industry of Honeywell's position in the industry and new solution offerings

  • Effectively prioritize and respond to inbound leads or customer requests for information

  • Assist with order processing while setting customer expectations

  • Utilize pipeline lead data to target/cold call potential customers

  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization, specifically sales and operations

  • Understanding of INNCOM Direct and solution offerings as well as the hospitality industry

  • Understanding of all Honeywell policies and procedures

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Three years' experience in inside sales/field sales

  • Two years' experience in segment/channel sales

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or other relevant discipline

  • Proficiency in Challenger methodology

  • Knowledge of key sales concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence at varying levels across the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently

  • Ability to use experience to appropriately apply the established standards

  • Demonstrated ability to attain sales quotas/targets

  • Prior industry experience
