Honeywell Tech Lead in Bangalore, India

Title: Tech Lead - CMS

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 3-5 years

Job Responsibilities:

This role will be a part of the core IT digital transformation team within Honeywell that will design, develop and drive the adoption of the latest digital marketing technologies. In this position the individual will partner with internal business teams and external partners to continually evolve an end-state vision for Honeywell's customer experience practices across the company and drive a coordinated deployment and institutionalizing of these practices. This role is responsible for designing, developing and supporting key transformational projects to Honeywell's customer experience and commercial excellence processes. The success of this role is measured by the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps and services team in building out and supporting new websites, templates, components and integrations

Specific responsibilities include:

· Work with our internal and external teams to develop and deliver a robust digital marketing platform in AEM to transform the digital marketing landscape at Honeywell

· Ensure AEM development milestones and deliveries are met

· Work with front end technologies to integrate them to AEM Websites

· Participate in organization initiatives to meet the Enterprise IT goals and expectations

· Work closely with business to understand the technical & functional requirements and help them to achieve it through effective execution

· Provide solutions to complex business problems in AEM Platform

· Integrate AEM with third party solutions

· Create Multi-tenant and Multi-language web applications in AEM

· Create and manage component libraries in AEM

Having the following is a plus:

· Experience on Elastic search, Enterprise DAM, Adobe suite of products like Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Dynamic Media, Launch and Adobe IO

· Innovative skills in seeking out new approaches and solutions

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Cloud Service Models and DevOps

· Being proactive & taking initiative

· Good team player, Quicker learner & listener

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering and 6 - 8 years Software Engineering experience

· 3-5 years’ experience in AEM/ Adobe CQ (Adobe Experience Manager) and knowledge on OSGI, CRXDE, JCR, REST, Apache Sling, jQuery, CSS/CSS3, JSON, REST, Ajax and other web technologies

· Hands on programming experience in AEM 6.X and Java

· Basic hands on experience on UI technologies like JQuery, HTML 5 and CSS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skill

· Problem solving capabilities

Good to have:

· Time management and organization skills; attention to detail

· Technical understanding and grasping power

· eCommerce knowledge

  • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals

  • Experience with contemporary development tools such as Git, continuous integration and automated testing frameworks

  • Some working knowledge of management tools such as SharePoint, Jira, Rally and Clarity PPM

  • Experience working in DevOps model

  • Passion for new technologies and innovation

  • Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision

  • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
