•Technical guidance/mentoring and coordination of other electronic design engineers (EDE), driving team to issue/risks identification, root cause analyzes and improvement action proposal and tracking
•Proactive approach in problem solving and escalations
•Proposals for career growth plans of other EDEs
•Coordination of team tasks in JIRA – setting up priorities, periodic tracking (Sprints and PI plans as part of Agile development)
•Active contribution and review of product requirements in Contour
•Design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on customer needs and market strategy
•Managing preparation of drawings, technical files, prototypes, product concept and design, part qualification, user manual updates, internal test reports, etc.
•Supporting definition, design and verification of electrical components on New Product Introductions (NPI), Value or Component Engineering (cost reduction) and sustaining activities (quality problem solving, customization, manufacturing support, etc)
•Conduct or champion electrical design review with all stake holders (global teams and other functions)
•Applying international standards (UL, CSA) and Honeywell internal processes
•Supporting creation of electrical design specifications and test/qualification plan. Optimize product for cost and quality
•Responsible for concept, design and implementation of electrical components, assemblies
•Regular communication with other parts of engineering team, marketing, PMO, suppliers, manufacturing, sourcing & quality departments. Predominantly in the English language
•Co-operation with colleagues across Europe, Asia and USA in all project development phases (planning, designing, testing and documentation, implementation)
•Implement new techniques and technologies
•Communication with internal teams (engineering, marketing, production, sales) and external partners (suppliers, customers)
•Part of the work is also management of small projects
•Should be willing to travel abroad if it is required
