Honeywell Material Handler - Level 1 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Material Handler Level 1

As a Material Handler Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the movement and storage of materials within the warehouse. You will ensure that materials are properly received, stored, and distributed to the appropriate locations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are readily available for production and shipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices

• Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse

• Retrieve materials from storage areas and prepare them for production or shipment

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

· Participate in team meetings/ tier meetings.

· Binning of incoming parts.

· Meet FAA and ISO requirements.

· Responsible for parts quantity accuracy.

· Receiving and issuing of parts.

· Timely bar coding of empty bin parts.

· Lift up to at least 30 lbs. without help.

· Shipping/Receiving of customer owned units.

· 5S Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment

• Basic computer skills

WE VALUE

• Experience with inventory management systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Computer literacy.

· Strong work ethic and initiative to learn processes.

· Experience with Lean processes and tools a plus.
