You will be a key member of the small, highly functioning Honeywell Corporate Development (M&A) function at HON. You will be responsible for leading/supporting all aspects of acquisition and divestiture transactions, including joint ventures and alliances, for the promotion of Honeywell’s growth objectives. You will be required to work with extensive cross-functional teams in the execution of duties. You will provide M&A guidance and process leadership to business segment teams in the field and have frequent contact with the CEO, CFO, General Counsel and Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.

YOU MUST HAVE
BS or BA in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or Accounting
Minimum 10 years of business related work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
Minimum 2 years of experience leading global teams
Advanced degree (MS or MBA) is strongly preferred
Extensive experience in direct M&A transaction execution experience
Superior financial and analytical skills, including valuation methodologies
Strong communication skills (verbal and written),
Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative/team approach to execution
Solid judgment and influencing skills to provide impetus to “get deals done”
Ability to deal with ambiguity, work within a cross functional team
Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to gain buy-in
Strategic insight into “corporate fit” of proposed transactions.
