You will be a key member of the small, highly functioning Honeywell Corporate Development (M&A) function at HON. You will be responsible for leading/supporting all aspects of acquisition and divestiture transactions, including joint ventures and alliances, for the promotion of Honeywell’s growth objectives. You will be required to work with extensive cross-functional teams in the execution of duties. You will provide M&A guidance and process leadership to business segment teams in the field and have frequent contact with the CEO, CFO, General Counsel and Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.

  • Support Negotiations

  • Ensure compliance

  • Manage team


  • BS or BA in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum 10 years of business related work experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading global teams


  • Advanced degree (MS or MBA) is strongly preferred

  • Extensive experience in direct M&A transaction execution experience

  • Superior financial and analytical skills, including valuation methodologies

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written),

  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative/team approach to execution

  • Solid judgment and influencing skills to provide impetus to “get deals done”

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work within a cross functional team

  • Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to gain buy-in

  • Strategic insight into “corporate fit” of proposed transactions.
