Reporting to the Honeywell ESS Advanced Materials (AM) Pricing Director, the Principal Pricing Professional will be part of the global ESS Pricing Team, with a focus on the Electronics & Materials (E&M) business unit.

  • You will work closely with product management, finance, sales, marketing and the senior management team, to maximize the profitability by systematically employing key pricing levers (Value, Pass-through, Transactional)

  • You will deliver financial impact by deploying best-in-class pricing tools to help decision making, and help drive adoption of existing pricing tools such as CPQ

  • You will provide direction and assistance to E&M regarding all the pricing related activities and targets

  • You will help make data-driven pricing decisions through analysis of price elasticity, inventory levels, order trends, and 80/20 segmentation

  • You will leverage business and pricing acumen to identify and execute pricing opportunities and to support world class pricing operations

  • You will lead pricing strategy for a >$1B P&L

  • You will be responsible for monitoring pricing trends, providing analysis and commentary for corporate updates, and update monthly price impact forecasts

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with business leaders to drive strong financial results

• Identify pricing opportunities and provide pricing insights

• Upgrade and optimize pricing models, dashboards, databases, and tools

• Manage pricing workstreams and projects

• Cascade and tailor corporate initiatives into the assigned Business Unit

• Provide reporting and commentary of price performance and price forecast

YOU MUST HAVE

•Graduate degree in Finance or Engineering, or Business from an accredited university of college. Post-Graduate preferred

•5+ years of experience in Pricing Strategy, Execution or Analysis; Product Management; Finance or Marketing

WE VALUE

•B2B environment experience with channel pricing (distributors vs end-customers)

•Global Project Experience

•Process industries experience with price strongly influenced by commodity-type direct materials

•Demonstrated results in large, international, complex, matrix organizations working with cross-functional teams in multiple sites/time zones

•Executive presence to engage with AM and the assigned Business Unit leadership

•Hands-on experience with ERPs (SAP, Business Objects, Business Intelligence), pricing tools (PROS) and other tools (Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI)

•Medium understanding of financial analysis and business strategy

•Superior problem solving and analytical skills, with a results- and detail-oriented mindset

•Ability to manage and derive insights from large amounts of data, complemented with expert knowledge of MS-Excel and visualization techniques

•Excellent project management skills, balancing theoretical thought with practical execution

•Self-starter mentality with ability to manage and prioritize tasks with little guidance

•Ability to convey information with clarity and directness
