  • Service and Repair Technician 1

As a Service and Repair Technician 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing service and repair support for our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems to ensure their optimal performance. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our Service and Repair Manager and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers' operations by providing timely and accurate service and repair solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues to identify the root cause of problems.

• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment and systems to restore their functionality.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Document all service and repair activities accurately and timely.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Analyze and Repair mechanical equipment

Identify parts for replacement

Submit parts orders

Test mechanical equipment

Participate in continuous improvement activities

Support the Honeywell Operating System

Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness

Comply with all safety rules

Record production data

Use measuring and diagnostic tools

+ + YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in service and repair of equipment and systems.

• Strong technical skills and knowledge in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
