As a Sr Customer Contract Specialist and member of the procurement Customer Change Control Team (CCT), you will be responsible for supporting a Project management team in the effective governance and administration of the prime contract between Honeywell and its customer. Execute a program to identify and prepare Change Order Request Intelligrated (CRINT) as they develop and direct the efforts to negotiate and resolve CRINTs;
With the project team and legal, become an expert in assigned customer contract baseline, including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal, schedule and other documents incorporated in the contract.
Execute the Contract Requirements Action List identifying the following:Action the contractually required notices
Execute the Customer Change Order Procedure and Customer identified changes, quantify the additional time and compensation due Honeywell, receive Intelligrated approvals and communicate changes to the Customer;
Prepare change orders to the contract and, as directed, negotiate such change orders;
Participate in project related meetings, work closely with Installation, Engineering, and Project Controls, and review project financial data to:Ensure awareness of all project activities that may affect the prime contract; Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, schedule relief and claim avoidance; Recommend appropriate actions to protect Honeywell’s interest and/or improve project performance; Ensure compliance with prime contract terms and conditions;
Contribute to the development and delivery of ongoing training to address prime contract management principles
This position allows a hybrid schedule with three days working onsite and two days working remote each week.
Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering or equivalent experience.
Courses or experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
2-5 years progressive work experience of sales/sourcing/engineering/construction industry contracting practices.
Working and/or Leading in Site Team Environments
Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
Team Leader experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
Experience with Salesforce.com, SAP, Oracle, or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
