As Sr. Change Management and Communications Specialist, you'll be able to advise and work with HR team members to define and execute communication programs that effectively drive and embed business initiatives. You will craft and tell a story to stakeholders across various organizational levels, through different media adapting to new trends. To be successful in this role, you will listen to the needs of the organization, ask the right questions, and drive meaningful solutions. You'll also review existing content to curate themes and messages, leveraging best practices and ensuring consistency of message and brand. Make change management fun!
This role will lead large-scale change management initiatives, help people become comfortable with the pace of change by articulating the value, what’s in it for them, and communicate how various initiatives connect to the HR and business priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, own, and execute strategic internal change management plans to include employee communications and experience elements to drive the adoption of digital solutions and processes, while keeping the customer top of mind
Support major initiatives, organization transitions, leadership changes, and other transformation steps through innovative and effective communication plans that address the needs of varied audiences and stakeholders
Support cross-company measurement of internal communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Act as a strategic partner to ensure an optimal employee experience with content and navigation of self-service HR tools and processes; lead Voice of the Customer sessions to incorporate employee input in to design and experience
Create and drive a wide range of content, including graphics, videos, and written messaging into a wide array of delivery channels
Collect, maintain, and analyze data and metrics related to engagement and communications strategies
Understand change impacts across all in-scope audiences and leads management and mitigation of impacts
Demonstrate expert knowledge of change management methodology and current communications tactics
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 5+ years of Internal Communications, Change Management or Human Resources experience
WE VALUE:
Prosci Certification
Experience leading change management for HCM implementation
Excellent strategic thinking and end-to-end change management knowledge
Strong writing and editorial skills to create and execute Digital Transformation communications
Video production and editing skills desired
Self-starter with ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed organizational structure where priorities can shift quickly
Relationship building skills that enable the individual to influence thinking and outcomes through professional credibility
The ability to provide communications counsel to senior leadership and lead the development of communication strategies and plans to drive results
Excellent and ruthless editing skills. A willingness to be hands-on with writing and editing to get the task done effectively
The desire to challenge the status quo, think creatively and take intelligent risks in raising the quality of communications and customer experience across Honeywell
