Honeywell Sr Pricing Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Work closely with marketing and product management, General Managers, Finance, and the sales organization. To maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers. You will manage the pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future projects and service engagements. You will analyze market drivers and competition to determine the price of exciting customer projects. You will deliver financial impact by collaborating with different stakeholders and developing new methods to evaluate project profitability. As part of your role you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts in the Services business and the commercial leadership team of Building Automation.

Reporting to Director Pricing for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) the Pricing

Manager will be part of the HBS Pricing team, primarily supporting the Services line of business.

Job Scope

  • Partner with business leaders to expand margins, improve Win Rate and drive value selling price recommendations to grow the customer order book

  • Deliver financial impact by deploying best-in-class pricing tools and pricing frameworks to aid decision-making across Service types

  • Systematically deploy the pricing levers (Value, Pass-through, Formula, Transactional). Report monthly results and improvement actions.

  • Provide direction and assistance to the business regarding all the pricing related activities

  • Leverage business and pricing acumen to identify and execute pricing opportunities and to support world class pricing operations

  • Identify price improvement opportunities that positively impact the P&L

  • Provide market pricing insights and inflation trends from industry recognized sources

  • Implement, track and report changes to Schedule of Executive Approval policy

  • Take on ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Significant experience in Pricing or similar commercial role

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of applying pricing levers in Service contracts, small job and spot orders

  • Experience developing Price Waterfalls to drive improvement actions

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of linking price and business strategy

  • Price management tools experience preferred: PROS software, Deal Desk, Tableau-based tools

  • Experience of channel pricing strategy (intercompany, distributors, end-customers)

  • Transactional pricing toolkit and value toolkit experience

  • Demonstrated results in large, complex, matrix organizations

  • Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills

  • Ability to deliver on complex situations with an 80/20 mindset

  • Ability to convey information with clarity and directness

  • Problem solving and analytical skills, results and detail-oriented approach.

  • Self-starter with ability to manage and prioritize tasks with limited supervision

  • Understanding of SAP BRP900 or similar ERP business systems platform

  • MBA or Professional pricing qualification is highly desirable
