We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team at [Company Name]. The Senior Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our chemical plant's equipment and systems. This individual will lead efforts to optimize maintenance strategies, improve equipment reliability, and minimize downtime, ultimately contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the (PSM)Mechanical Integrity program for the site

• Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize maintenance costs.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) investigations to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

• Lead reliability improvement projects aimed at enhancing the performance and lifespan of critical assets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to prioritize reliability initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

• Utilize predictive maintenance technologies, such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis, to detect and address potential equipment failures proactively.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor equipment reliability and develop reporting mechanisms to track progress.

• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills of maintenance personnel and promote a culture of reliability excellence.

• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to reliability engineering in the chemical industry.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability engineering within the chemical process industry.

• Proven track record of successfully leading reliability improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results.

• Strong computer skills including, but not limited too, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

• Strong understanding of reliability concepts, including RCM, RCA, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and asset management principles.

• Experience with reliability software tools, such as SAP (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and the ability to interpret complex technical information.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Failure analysis including preservation of evidence techniques

• Maintenance and reliability best practices including the work management process

• Basic materials science including material selection and properties

• Equipment life cycle cost analysis

• Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA)

• Cost/Capital analysis and justification
