Honeywell's test and measurement sensor solutions help customers worldwide in research and development, design, quality testing, manufacturing, and system monitoring in many different industries, challenging applications, and rugged environments. They are used in countless applications from the NASA Perseverance Rover on Mars to Navy Ships and oil rigs.
As the Inside Sales Representative for Test & Measurement within Honeywell Sensing Solutions, your most important role is to proactively sell to grow your territory’s business. This includes activities such as account plan execution, remote sales visit preparation, collaboration with the outside sales teams and channel partners, pipeline management, forecasting, qualification, and closing. Our expectation is that you will exceed your targets, take ownership of the success of the Test & Measurement Line-Of-Business, and learn how to be a more effective salesperson. These are technical products, and the role will require you to research product information, recommend the best product for the customer’s application, and provide product quotes and lead times following internal consultation with design engineering, application engineering, product marketing and manufacturing, as necessary. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management (CRM) system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
2+ years of business sales experience
WE VALUE
Advanced Degree - Business/Technical degree preferred
Experience with a technology-based organization or technical sales experience
Prior experience with sensor selling preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and activity quotas
Demonstrated ability to influence at varying level across the organization
Demonstrated ability to operate independently
Prior experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent customer relationship building skills
Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural, global business environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to interface with a variety of roles to accomplish objectives
