The Project Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for supporting the implementation of a business strategy (STRAP) to grow the business greater than market rates by leveraging product technology, new product development, open innovation, voice of customer, current product portfolio, manufacturing assets and equipment engineering capability. The PDM works closely with Senior Business Leaders and Customer Success Organization to develop and drive strategic business opportunities.
Partners with Sellers on strategic opportunities, to drive receipt of RFQ & clarification
Partners with offering management to define where the value is to inform the proposal narrative and overall strategy
Responsible for commercial & technical proposal generation, review & sign-off on risk, customer clarifications, all points to closure.
Responsible for driving maximum UOP value
Brings back and helps drive next gen NPI ideation and model improvements
Provides business guidance for subsequent opportunities; contributes to "In-take“
Reviews post mortem sample analysis reports written for customers
Owns Win/loss technical debrief
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of Sales Technical Specialist (STS) experience
