An opening exists for a Principal Project Engineer, Equipment, Process Information and Controls (PIC) in Des Plaines, IL.. You will be accountable for managing PIC control system projects. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive performance.
You will partner with world class engineering and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Project Scope Review
New Product Project Execution management through delivery
Standard PIC/PSA/GP Project Scope review
Standard PIC/PSA/GP Project Execution management through delivery
Mentor less experienced Project Engineers
Determine control system as well as work process improvements
Implement control system as well as work process improvements
Address Project barriers
Provide Sales Support assistance
Provide Service Support assistance
Maintain ISO certification
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree Chemical Engineering
15+ Years Controls Engineering Experience
2+ Years of detailed instrumentation experience with UOP Process Technology.
2+ Years of Logic Testing Experience
