The Vertical Markets Leader (VML)will lead the sales efforts of a specific vertical market such as Healthcare, Data Centers, Airports as examples. They will work with other Business Consultants in said vertical market to drive sales to meet the sales goals and objectives of the VM. The VML will author a strategic growth plan to achieve the sales objectives. He/ She will coordinate with Honeywell Marketing to assist in plan development and execution as well as identify specific products and partnerships that will assist in growth for this market. They will also be responsible for monitoring forecasting and delivering on quota.
Develop and execute vertical market sales strategies and ensure compliance to internal data management and reporting, including use of Salesforce.com
Assess team’s sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals
Coach the team, and relevant sales leaders/professionals on vertical markets business drivers/trends, value proposition, and prospecting,
Participates and drives complex negotiations to a closing for the all assigned Vertical pursuits, including building appropriate partnerships with local sales leadership/professionals to maximize results
Work with each team member to develop and implement vertical or consultant -wide business and sales plans to achieve sales quota
YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership/management experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience calling on premium commercial facilities and experience selling to this vertical
BA/BS degree in a business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university
Strong understanding of selling/positioning of complex solutions
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales, and vertical market plans
Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and close complex contracts
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to identify new prospects,
Demonstrated good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Able to maintain a flexible schedule
