As a software engineer at Honeywell, you will spend your time collaborating with your team and pairing with other developers to write code and tests. But you'll also participate in the entire lifecycle: sprint grooming, sprint planning, design, coding, retrospectives, user testing, hackathons, and innovation sprints. You will work on a scrum team of 5 - 7 people including: scrum masters, product owners, designers, software engineers, and DevOps. You and your team will collaborate with other scrum teams to build products from the idea phase through launch and beyond.

As a member of Productivity Products Software team, you will be responsible for executing the
Business' software strategy, design and develop next-generation cloud-hosted offerings.
We are looking for a highly-motivated self-starter and a change agent with experience and desire to drive organizations to be successful on the cutting edge of connected technologies.
Initially this role will be based in Fort Mill, SC with the potential to move to the Greater Charlotte area in the near future.

YOU MUST HAVE
·Bachelor’s degree required
·Minimum 4+ years of software or IT engineering experience
·Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
·Engineers with several programming languages and have in-depth experience with at least one
·Experience with Distributed, MVC, SOA, or Micro-services architecture patterns.
·Experience with developing software’s leveraging cloud computing technologies.
·Engineers to be experienced with the entire stack
·Proven ability to analyze data in business context and problems to be solved.
·Willingness to learn new tools/languages/frameworks as technology evolves, inspired by the increased complexity of the problems at hand
·Proven experience in writing clean, logical, high quality code and unit tests
·Having a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals
·Self-managing and self-directed
·Real passion for the development craft and a curiosity and a love of learning
·Experience with collaborative, team-oriented and agile work environment
·Excitement about working on a multi-functional, global team
