We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Consultant who will have responsibility for generating sales of comprehensive solutions and services within your assigned market. Customer interface responsible for the development of new business and new relationships in pursuit of growth for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) in MN. You will partner with Consulting Engineers, Contractors, and End Users to develop Temperature Control and integrated / converged systems (Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, etc) withgoalto specify Honeywell aspre-qualifiedbidder. You will collaborate with Honeywell team members (including estimators, sales, and subject matter guides) to plan strategies, develop and present Honeywell value propositions. You will lead bid tactics on bid day for ambitious opportunities. You will provide market intelligence support covering the developments going into the market place by competitors and their pricing.

Help drive integrated solutions sales that bring together both hardware and software products

Contribute to the larger team through the application of new products, principles, theoriesandconcepts in your field of expertise to develop unique solutions for customers.

Be a zealot for growth by driving continuous improvement within Solutions Sales to ensure customer’s top choice is Honeywell.

We expect you to be comfortable with up to 60% travel, including overnights. We can offer you incredible career progression, as well as an attractive remuneration package.

You must have

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of technical sales experience in Building Automation Controls or in lieu of a degree, 10 years of technical sales experience in Building Automation Controls.

  • Confirmed experience prospecting for opportunities.
  • Demonstrated previous customer acquisition experience in the building controls and energy retrofit market.
  • Takes intelligent risks and achieves results by applying good judgment and experience to every sales situation; shows tenacity and experience.
  • Financial and business insight; capable of creating unbudgeted opportunities funded fromvalueof the solution or offering.
