In Honeywell Aerospace, the importance of data as a corporate asset and the increasing use of analytics to drive growth, operational efficiencies, and enhance the customer experience is becoming more and more prevalent in everything we do. Success of data monetization is highly dependent upon the quality, integrity, and controls of data that each of the performing organization own and use. The current state of data management and governance for each performing organization are at different stages of maturity.

The Aero Data Governance team is looking for strong candidates eager to learn and develop key data management skills to help achieve our data maturity goals. The role of the Aero Data Governance team is to establish policies, standards, processes and tools that consistently define the critical data for Aerospace.

Key Outcomes / Measures for this role would be

  • Coordinate meetings with data stewards and data owners to review data quality metrics, data quality improvements and data access controls.

  • Develop a working knowledge of the business processes in Aero and a good understanding of the systems and datasets as they will help drive data governance activities around new and emerging data masters

  • Assist in the development of data governance dashboards and data quality metrics

  • Pull data and reports from multiple applications

You Must Have:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering

  • Must be a US Citizen.
