Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Engineering Technician II for our Golden Valley, MN location.
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will create programs, manufacturing instructions, and identify/design tooling for new or existing product lines.

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is ($58,500.00 - $73,200.00). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Fabricate complex components and assemblies using advanced techniques and equipment
Setup and operate various fabrication machines and tools such as saws, mills, lathes, and welders
Interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fabrication processes
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Conduct inspections, testing, and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
YOU MUST HAVE
U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of T.I.G. welding experience
Demonstrated understanding of metal joining concepts involving process requirements to meet design requirements
WE VALUE
5+ years of T.I.G. welding experience
Experience with laser welding
Experience with soldering, brazing, and diffusion bonding processes and techniques
Experience with various fabrication machines, laser cutting, laser welding, CNC benders, CNC mills/lathes
Demonstrate ability to cross train and learn multiple processes
Welding certification or relevant vocational training
Experience fabricating prototype & production fixtures and tooling
Ability to review a design for manufacturability and provide feedback with proposed solutions
