As business data needs and strategies are expanding, new sources of data are becoming available and volume of information is multiplying.Information is becoming “connected” and is spanning cross functionally and many of Honeywell’s products are on the forefront of this transformation.This newly formed Business Analyst role has been created to focus on driving results with the business using analytics techniques and tools.As part of the HBT Financial Systems & Analytics team, this analyst will be introduced to and be expected to become immersed in analytics tools and techniques that enable data based insights that drive business decisions.In addition, this Business Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in developing processes, training and other key materials to make this important analytics program successful. You will prepare data for analytic consumption. You will prepare visualizations and analytics in Tableau or other visualization tools. you will identify and shepherd analytic thought leaders in other functions. You will conduct ad hoc projects as needed
Become an in-house expert and advocate for analytics tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
Partner with various business and functional leaders to identify and prepare data driven analytics
Help design and develop key supporting processes, materials and training for the analytics program
Engage in Honeywell’s analytic communities and promote sharing of ideas
Champion data driven culture within and cross organizations
20 Approval of books of accounts
20 Timely month/quarter close
20 Drive compliance
20 Analysis of variances
20 Financial projections
