The Business Development Sales Leader, Petroleum & Petrochemicals will lead growth efforts in the USA region by driving key strategies, new customer attainment and partnership initiatives which are critical to market growth and profitability. You will align continually with leadership to assess portfolio opportunities and needs in the market, provide input into regional industry trends, technology/product development, to enhance our portfolio offerings specific to end-user needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create business development strategies to increase company revenue and brand value.

Work with executive leadership to build a dynamic and future flexible business strategy for rapid growth in this market space.

Advise on industry trends and support the development of growth strategies.

Analyze existing business strategies and provide recommendations for future growth.

Develop and manage a pipeline of potential new accounts, greenfield projects, business opportunities, and partnerships within the PGTMM industry.

Pursue new business opportunities and ensure seamless handoff from business development to sales.

Drive Business Development and operations in meeting regional sales targets.

Drive Business Development team for strong growth in pipeline and project wins.

Help executive leadership in setting investment direction to support profitable growth in this market space.

Work with strategic marketing and LOB to develop strategic plans that outline positioning, customer segment opportunity, products, pricing, campaigns, and detailed competitive analysis.

Participate in seminars and industry events to represent Honeywell in the PGTM market

Collaborate with internal teams, including products teams, technical sales consultants, and marketing, to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new business opportunities and partnerships in the Region

Work with other divisions within the company to leverage synergies and expand the company's offerings in their specific business unit as One Honeywell.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years-experience with automation and controls

WE VALUE:

Strong understanding of automation and software solutions, including DCS, MES and Quality solutions

Experience with Business Development

Demonstrated strong business development sense with the ability to develop relationships with decision makers within new customer accounts.

Success identifying new opportunities and customers, developing, and implementing successful pursuit strategies.

Master's degree

Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills

Ability to forge solid relationships (externally & internally) and lead across a broad and geographically dispersed business

Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision

Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness

Demonstrated to behave and communicate to team sense of urgency

Understanding of value proposition as well as the competitive landscape

Demonstrated knowledge of business impact of software and automation solutions used across the PGTM manufacturing value chain

Ability to develop and implement effective communication plans for internal/external customers

Proven effectiveness in a highly matrixed environment
