Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS). You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity. The Alarm Management Project Engineer is responsible for providing alarm management services for Honeywell to end users in the petro-chemical, chemical, pulp & paper, oil & gas and power industries. You will Benchmark alarm system performance through software tools and operator interviews. Lead the development of alarm management philosophy documents. You will organize, lead, and facilitate alarm rationalization. Responsible to install and configure Honeywell alarm Management software and Honeywell Dynamo operations management product. Travel expectations is approximately 50% of the time, primarily within the USA and Canada.

YOU MUST HAVE

-Minimum of 5 years experience in alarm rationalization

WE VALUE

-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred

-Knowledge of controls engineering and control systems

-Project Delivery experience

-Familiar with at least one DCS system including but not limited to: Honeywell Experion, Honeywell TPS, Foxboro IA, Emerson DeltaV, Emerson Ovation, and/or ABB among others

-Alarm management rationalization experience

-Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events

-Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
