The Sr. Offering Manager for Honeywell Multisite will be responsible for managing and profitably growing the hardware portfolio and other related strategic solutions and/ or offerings. You will have full ownership of all marketing functions for your portfolio including: product strategy, new product identification and development, SKU rationalization, pricing, product portfolio management, voice of customer work as well as market and competitive intelligence, among other things.
You will be a member of a growing, best-in-class Marketing team and should have a strong background in formal marketing development with a company this is a recognized leader in marketing excellence, including: market identification, phase gate new product development, product/ service/ offering innovation leadership and product portfolio management. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated experience in a commercial role, ideally as a sales person or sales manager in a direct sales business model.
A global citizen is preferred who is multi-lingual and has professional experience overseas, with experience in the Latin America, EMEA and APAC regions being of highest value. The successful candidate should also have an extensive background in a B2B environment and have significant, demonstrated experience managing project and project teams from concept to execution.
In your role, you will have responsibility for creating and delivering new product offerings. You should have experience accomplishing this in a matrix environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will interact with our local Application Development Group, the global R&D function, new and existing customers, our own direct sales force and sales management as well as regional sales and leadership teams globally. Your daily work with include active collaboration with global and regional product managers within other Honeywell brands as well as at the Corporate level. That same daily work will also require you interact with the international supply chain (“ISC”) organization for supply and demand planning as well as our factories for SIOP optimization, strategic planning, cost and delivery improvements.
You should have strong analytic skills and presentation skills as well as demonstrated written communication skills and be proficient in leveraging market research, data and market analytics tools as well as basic Office expertise with Excel and PPT primarily.
Strategy & Planning
Integrate inputs to develop distinctive product plans with outstanding financial outcomes; be competent in microeconomics, finance, VOC, research and analysis and basic marketing toolkit (market definition and sizing, segmentation, value management, targeting and positioning, pricing)
Promote strong market orientation and influence strategy formulation and investment decisions, including for High Growth regions
Support the product planning and roadmap execution process including new product additions working with technology, R&D, Engineering, Sales, Service and HBT/ BMS stakeholders; sun-set current products; develop and support product roadmaps linked to segment’s, customer needs and willingness to pay; product positioning linked to distinctive understanding of competitive offerings and value; product value pricing.
Value Management/Value Pricing
Support the development of VOC; understand segmentation; understand value elements critical to customers; calculate value equations; target value propositions to customer segments
Some experience applying value pricing toolkit; Promote use of value pricing
Develop dynamic pricing strategies based on value delivered relative to customer’s next best alternative.
Drive value pricing discipline in the business, including price increases with disciplined net pull through impact; Drives tool development and learning
Understand transactional pricing tool kit and analytical techniques; Understand pricing waterfall tool; execute waterfall analysis and drive to actions with financial
Strong fundamental understanding and ability to apply transactional pricing toolkit to drive to actions; Strong demonstrated ability to implement transactional pricing
Demonstrate ability to implement transactional pricing with positive results; Drive strong financial results
Customer Relationship Management
Link between technology/product lines and customers. Ability to communicate the value of the offering in customer centric terms to cause customer to choose Honeywell offerings based on value delivered
Strong VOC skill set and ability… meaningful VOC driven to important implications
Strong knowledge of how to drive value propositions into compelling customer pitches that result in customer orders
Products and Services Management
Classic product/services management. Understand and manage product/services life cycles, profitability, demand planning, new product/services development ideation and process management, competitive offerings
Promote innovation and cooperation in the development of new products and services
Direct and maintain competitive product/service portfolios that deliver more value than next best alternative
Model and lead innovation

Program & Project Management
