Honeywell Sr Audit Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Join the Licensing Center of Excellence as a Sr Audit Analyst and help restore the value of Honeywell's most lucrative business dealings.

  • Determine compliance issues with License and other Aerospace agreements, such as breaches in the financial and technical terms of contracts.

Manage the data gathering and analysis of audits with a focus on compliance, operational, financial and other special audit reviews.

  • Support the preparation and issuing of audit reports as well as help to develop strategies and negotiate settlement agreements based on the audit findings you uncover.

  • Work closely with the APAC Sales Channel to identify audit candidates and advocate for appropriate resolutions to recover losses and improve contract compliance.

  • Own a portfolio of Audit opportunities and perform on-site and desk audits to ensure compliance with agreement intent.

  • Identify compliance issues and breaches in financial and technical terms of contracts including incorrect usage of Honeywell Intellectual Property and non-use of Honeywell parts.

Qualifications/Skills we desire

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Management or equivalent.

  • Audit experience with analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-confident, with a strong sense of urgency and knowledge on how to overcome obstacles to get things done in a timely fashion.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Experience in Finance or interpreting contracts with at least 5 years relevant working experience in either of those areas.

  • Comfortable in a matrix environment with a record of influencing key individuals.

  • Track record of working deals from creation to closure within a large complex corporate environment dealing with a variety of businesses and functions.

  • Expertise with data analysis techniques and tools, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Highly developed project management skills, with focus on timely completion of tasks and the ability to identify and assess a changing array of risks.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication, effective listening, and strong interpersonal skills.
