Honeywell Sr Advanced Quality Engineer in Mason, Ohio

As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting audits and inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality engineering will contribute to the success of our organization and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Mason, Ohio location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute and provide guidance for the analysis and evaluation of assigned projects using Six Sigma methodology for practices and procedures of product and program requirements.

• SME Quality team member for Z21/NPI/NPE/VE projects which drive quality readiness, such as: QRL, PVPnR, and due diligence on other functional deliverables through all project phase gates.

• Resource for Quality Engineers to assist with Z21/NPI/NPE/VE project questions as they relate to quality readiness issues.

• Demonstrated ability to monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments to various levels of internal management. (i.e. PowerPoint Slides, Product Issue Alerts)

• Ability to lead and drive cross-functional teams to address quality issues, Customer Critical Alerts and Customer Issues by completing the 8D process.

• SME Quality team member who partners with all functional areas, such as: Product Engineers, to create Built in Quality Checklists, which are implemented in Honeywell Manufacturing plant processes, globally.

• Provide Department support for Monthly KPI and Metric Analysis, as required.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or related role

• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools

• Experience in conducting audits and inspections

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
