Honeywell Plater - 4th shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Pay Rate: $31.57/hr

4th shift: +$1.35/hr shift differential

MON & FRI - 10:00PM – 6:00AM

AND

SAT & SUN - 10:00PM – 10:00 AM

Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Somewhat diversified work to do any plating job in department including small rack and barrel plating, solvent degreasing, brite dipping, polishing, sand blasting, or miscellaneous departmental jobs.

  • Mix own acid and brite dipping solutions using methods layouts and may have to make additions of chemicals as required. (Other plating solution kept up by maintenance crew.)

  • Perform periodic analysis of chemicals as required Checks and records plating thickness as required.

  • Judgment necessary to follow prescribed procedures in order to maintain workmanship standards.

  • May be subject to NADCAP requirements.

  • Sustained physical effort handling parts, racks, and containers filled with parts and materials.

Must be able to lift heavy baskets in and out of tanks and operate mechanical hoist.

  • Exposed to varying degrees of dust, dirt, fumes, noise, etc. making job somewhat disagreeable.

Protective gloves, footwear, eyewear, long pants and aprons use required.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma

  • 1 year in Metal Finish Plating
