Honeywell is seeking a Content Specialist to bring our connected story to life through running editorial content in our newsroom, contributing to website content and coordinating our Design Language System (DLS), driving best practices and consistency across functions and businesses. Effective content identifies and differentiates a company from other companies and an effective execution gives a company a major edge in increasingly competitive markets. You view the Honeywell connected as a valuable business asset and a means to tell a story and are on the front lines of protecting and growing it.

Responsibilities:

·Newsroom coordinator and lead writer:

oOwn editorial content calendar and facilitate publishing

oCollaborate with teams to develop creative ideas and recognize trends for content and social campaigns

oCollaborate with a graphic designer on photo editing newsroom stories.

oIncorporate journalism best practices to our corporate website and Newsroom to increase visitor access to and engagement with news, product information and customer support.

oOwn newsroom reporting -- Generate regular metrics reports on business’ digital platforms and social media to drive strategy. Leverage data to make improvements that will enhance site, traffic and engagement.

·Supports @Honeywell social media activities

oAssist with asset creation for Honeywell channels

oPropose content and help with SBG adoption

·Supports Design Language System Website Updates:

oAssists with corporate brand portal updates

oProvides guidance on voice and tone and social work streams

·Works across a variety of Enterprise Content Management Systems (Adobe AEM, Sitecore, Spredfast)

·Leads DAM implementation across SBGs and corporate – driving adoption and reporting out across the enterprise

·Identifies and analyzes outdated information/web pages for content/page deletion on Honeywell.com

·Implements Honeywell.com homepage updates

·Manages multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, creative, branding
  • 2-5 years of experience in Digital marketing or publishing experience
  • 1-3 years of journalism experience
  • Fluent in English

  • Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills
  • Copyediting skills
  • Creative solutioning – the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into digital solutions
  • Understands Brand Guidelines and how to ensure projects bring the brand to life in inspiring ways
  • Analytic orientation, experience with digital analytics tools including social
  • Understanding of agency capabilities and process
  • Strong understanding of digital delivery process such as agile and waterfall
  • Ability to deliver One Honeywell perspective
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Project management skills a plus
  • Ability to work as a team, take direction and move forward
  • Experience in a corporate or agency environment
