The Sr Sales Ops Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovative and engaging sales training and tool optimization initiatives across the Advanced Materials Global organization. Working closely with commercial, sales effectiveness, and offering management leaders, you will develop and execute plans that deliver on our goals and build the capability of the sales organizations we support.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Excellence and requires a self-starter with a unique blend of familiarity with digital tools as well as process optimization and compliance. The Sales Ops Specialist should have great attention to detail, strong writing / process documentation skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements.


• Review current business processes and meet with key stakeholders to gain an understanding of current processes and pain points, identify areas of improvement, and ensure that proposed solutions have a tight collaboration between business and technology outcomes.

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and sellers to build and document detailed level business requirements that support ongoing digital transformation.

• Improve operational effectiveness by streamlining business work processes, procedures, and increasing coordination between internal departments.

• Distil complex issues into recommended, streamlined solutions to multiple levels of business stakeholders.

• Manage diverse range of projects and programs from ideation through completion.

• Develop, implement, and coordinate company-wide training programs for all applicable company personnel working in the channel partner, sales intermediary, and distributor space.

• Review contracts and compliance standards, existing policies & procedures to evaluate effectiveness of company quality programs. Work closely with the digital tools administrators, sales and legal teams for alignment.

• Establish field relationships to regularly identify areas of improvement in sales execution and effectiveness

• Improve sales productivity through the development and execution of sales enablement programs and initiatives; ensuring the sale steam can find the materials they need when they want them

You Must Have

• Five-plus years’ work experience in a business analyst or process improvement role working on diverse range of digital tools and transformation initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly map out processes.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze business problems and advocate best people and process solutions.

• Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies that underpin workflow efficiencies.

• Good project management skills, with the ability to manage and execute multiple streams and tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication, flexibility, and time management skills.

• Proven success as an individual contributor, as well as a track record of strong positive teamwork, proactive collaboration, and effective problem resolution.

• Excellent program, project and time management and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; Self-starter with the ability to work independently
