We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, highly accomplished, motivated and driven individual to join us as a Director in our Corporate Treasury team. You will be a part of a multi-cultural, international, diverse, award-winning Treasury team and work in a fast-paced environment, helping us shape the future on our path to becoming the world’s leading software-industrial.

Principal Accountabilities

· Capital Structure – recommend and implement appropriate capital structure given capital deployment opportunities, forecasted economic trends and business unit performance. Recommend and execute dividend and share repurchase policies and advise senior management on debt capacity for share repurchases and M&A

· M&A – provide advice across all deal stages including structuring, due diligence, integration and financing execution for acquisitions, divestitures, ventures, JVs and spin-offs

· Tax and Legal Entity Structuring – represent Treasury on global tax planning projects and restructuring actions including cash repatriation and M&A structuring

· Project and Customer Finance – develop and maintain strong partnerships with business units and key corporate functions and provide advice on all customer and project finance transactions

· Credit and Ratings – Effectively manage Honeywell’s credit market perception, credit ratings and rating agency relationships

· ESG – Proactively manage Honeywell’s ESG perception in financial markets by developing relationships with ESG rating agencies and actively managing ESG ratings and scores

· Bank Relationship Management – maintain and develop strong relationships with banking counterparties while ensuring that credit commitments are in line with share of wallet

· Talent Development – Foster knowledge transfer and develop word class Treasury talent while promoting a strong performance culture and achieving best in class results

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; MBA/Master’s degree or CFA is a plus

  • 10+ years of investment banking experience is required, with a strong background in leveraged finance, M&A, capital and ratings advisory, project finance, debt capital markets, credit underwriting and/or adjacent groups

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including M&A, DCF, LBO and credit rating models

  • Advanced technical knowledge of financial products and their applications

  • Strong familiarity with legal, tax and accounting principles related to the above

  • Experience negotiating merger agreements, loan and bond documentation

  • Strong IT skills and working knowledge in Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, and MS Excel

  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize competing projects and deadlines

  • Good standing with regulatory agencies including (but not limited to) FINRA, NASD, SEC and Fed
