KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the thought leader in digital finance strategy deployment across the Advanced Material’s (AM) global finance organization.

  • B ecome a trusted advisor to the AM CFO as it relates to analytics, data, and internal operating processes needs.

  • Enhance operating insights and translate data into actionable strategy and tactics.

  • Lead analytic and automation projects as a Product Owner .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and Finance teams to identify solutions to AM business issues and provide recommendations/direction to enhance internal reporting processes.

  • Drive analytics culture and promote data-driven decision-making across the business.

  • Understand current analytics needs for the AM business and develop a plan/roadmap for its subsequent execution . Align closely with other SBU Analytics Managers and Corporate to drive efficiencies and standardization across all Honeywell.

  • Become the Analytics Leaders across all PMT (Performance Materials and Technologies), not just AM, for all analytics needs involving Working Capital elements (e.g., Receivables, Payables, etc...). Align with stakeholders on roadmaps, and closely supervise the execution of the project with I.T. and other business resources to ensure the final product is delivered as per customer’s specifications and needs. ]

  • Participate in special projects when analytics representation from the AM business or Working Capital PMT is needed (e.g., automation or forecasting across all PMT).

  • Interpret and report AM financial results to stakeholders when needed.

    MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

  • +9 years of experience working in a Finance or Accounting organization.

  • +5 years of financial systems and reporting experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc..)

  • +5 years developing analytical capabilities

  • +3 years leading the development of analytical capabilities

  • +3 years of experience in the areas of Working Capital. Solid understanding of Working Capital processes and systems involved in the generation of information needed to then manufacture analytical capabilities required.

    WE VALUE

  • MBA or MA

  • Experience in data science and statistics

  • Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau

  • Experience developing forecasts and operating plans
