This role will work in the Performance Materials and Technologies division of Honeywell which is a $11 billion business group with a wide variety of supply chain models within. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing a strategic road map for PMTs advanced planning capabilities in the areas of S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, delivery fulfillment and inventory management. This role will specifically focus on the AM and UOP part of the PMT business and in developing strategies to mature and improve their Advanced Planning & Optimization system (SAP APO) and to develop a migration path to advanced planning systems like Kinaxis RapidResponse. Must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage for Honeywell to bet the competition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Focus on APO planning system to mature and streamline current processes and to develop a roadmap to migrate to advanced planning systems like Kinaxis RapidResponse
Work with planners to document standard work, processes and other critical functions required during the SIOP process thereby building knowledge and capability within business teams
Execute continuous improvement projects to improve SIOP maturity and planner capabilities
Coordinate with CORP IT in ensuring special activities like AOP, STRAP, Simulations etc. and small projects like migrations, business realignments etc. are performed as per business expectations.
Serve as the APO Planning Subject Matter Expert
Partner with the PMT and CORP CoE leads in aligning with the overall PMT and Corporate Global Design Model
Work with planners and MDM teams to ensure ERP master and transactional data are accurate and in sync with the planning system.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years expertise in working on SAP APO, SAP ECC
5+ years strong functional working experience on supply chain planning projects
WE VALUE
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Supply Chain
Advanced knowledge of APO configuration, working, integration etc.
Advanced knowledge of ECC MRP, Master Data, integration etc.
Working knowledge in APS like Kinaxis RapidResponse & Optimization engines like CPLEX
Strong understanding and use of KPI and metrics
Ability to influence cross-functionally
Strong organization and relationship management skills
Excellent written & verbal communication
Works well in a matrix environment
Industry relevant certifications (i.e., LEAN, APICS, Six Sigma)
Advanced Degree (MBA or MS)
Strong Microsoft office skills
