Fire Alarm Test & Inspect Technician 3rd Shift

This Fire Alarm Test & Inspect Technician role is based at our Orlando operation. We provide training for the candidates we hire, but previous experience in a technical role is welcomed! The position requires a 3rd(10PM – 6:30AM) shift. As this technician, you will assist in providing technical support through on-site testing and inspecting of fire alarm systems. Shifts may require that you work independently, but some shifts will be with a team mate. You will follow detailed work instruction and escalate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blue prints, or work instructions. You will identify and escalate opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will assist in training of the customer on installed/repaired systems. You will write up daily reports of each system, including smoke detectors, alarms, pull stations, strobe/horns, and speakers. You will work closely with our client on a daily basis, so your professional, friendly communication skills are a must. YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • 6 or more months experience working with Windows based PC
  • 6 months or more experience working with hand tools in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to obtain Security Clearance after hire
  • Valid Driver’s License
