ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, create innovative designs, and ensure the successful implementation of mechanical solutions. Your expertise in mechanical design and problem-solving will be crucial in delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define design requirements and specifications
Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software and other engineering tools
Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design performance and reliability
Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing and testing phases
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Travel: up to 5%

Reports to: Sr Engineering Manager
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
MUST HAVE
2+ years of experience in mechanical design or a related field
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO/ProEngineer AutoCAD) and other engineering tools
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
WE VALUE
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience with electronics packaging/avionics
Experience with GD&T
Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industry
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
