Be part of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Project Engineering team, within Honeywell Power Systems, leading assigned development activities This position will execute assigned development tasks and qualification testing in support of product design and verification efforts for APU development programs
The successful candidate must be able to apply their engineering training, project management behaviors, and constant learning to serve as the single point of accountability for engineering work scope and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Executes assigned testing or design tasks the program engineering Team
Supports work package control account managers in estimating budget, schedule, and staffing forecast for assigned tasks.
Responsible for authoring test procedures, design reports, formal test reports, and contract deliverables.
During execution phase, ensures tasks being worked are running within the schedule, budget and staffing commitments.
Travel to the US and/ or internationally - 10%
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
Experience in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering
Experience or training in engineering development or product testing
Experience or training in project management
