ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a team that supports the development and verification of highly complex avionics systems within Honeywell. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in the most critical stages of the systems life cycle, from prototype engineering testing to system qualification testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirements analysis
Requirements decomposition
Test plan and procedure development
Testing in accordance with environmental and MOPS requirements
Anomaly investigation and disposition
Qualification test report generation
Project coordination
Budget/schedule responsibility
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
MUST HAVE:
At least 5 years of engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
WE VALUE
Experience with DO-160 and Mil-STD environmental requirements
Experience evaluating Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283
Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
Procedure and report-writing experience
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
Working with diverse and global team
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
Ability to adapt to changing project needs
Multi-tasking, with the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks
Making autonomous decisions
