Sr Advanced User Experience Designer

Sr Advanced User Experience Designer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

•Design branded, seamless experiences that span mobile, web, and emerging technologies, coach and mentor other designers, and constructively partner across the business to advocate for design that enables user needs.

•Define both near-term tactical and long-term strategic designs by collaborating with offering management and engineering teams.

•Define user needs and “Jobs to be Done.”

•Define Success Criteria for users.

•Create Experience Maps/User Flows for critical User Interfaces.

•Develop Validation Criteria based on experience design flows and success criteria Concept Design & Validation.

•Test concept/wireframe Validation & Design Feedback from users.

•Create site maps and information architecture for connected experiences Detailed Design & Testing.

•Build and iteratively refine UI prototypes (low- through high-fidelity as appropriate) that effectively communicate design intent to the cross-functional product team and customers).

•Conduct User Testing & Voice of the Customer Reviews.

•Define Measurement Criteria & KPI's for user experience.

•Define Acceptance Criteria for UX features.

•Conduct Quality Assurance for design items.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

•Location: Phoenix, AZ

•40 hours/week

•Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Graphic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of digital or graphic design experience. Must possess three (3) years of experience in the following: working on design for mobile and web applications for pilots; working on design for connected software for business aviation; working on design for connected software for commercial airline maintenance; with software prototyping tools, including Figma, and Sketch; and the design, development, and implementation of design language systems for aerospace products. Must possess Six Sigma Green Belt in Design for Software. Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.
