Honeywell Principal Semiconduct Engineer in Plymouth, Minnesota

Lead a team working on Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) library development and validation, implementation and evaluation of complex ASIC designs, and integrated product development utilizing advanced packaging techniques. You will technically lead projects that develop new integrated circuit products, processes, standards, and operational plans in support of the organization's business strategies. You will work closely with world class engineers, customers and suppliers during planning, requirements, architecture, design, packaging, and test phases for a given project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a Technical Lead

  • Requirements Definition and Project planning

  • Lead execution of complex ASIC and multi-chip module (MCM) design/simulation

  • Lead ASIC/MCM electrical, reliability and radiation testing

  • Develop new design library IP

  • Create Quotation Estimates

  • Conduct Design Synthesis, Place & Route and Final Timing

  • Support Wafer Fabrication

  • Provide Product Integration and Test Support

  • Provide Customer Support

  • Interact with suppliers and development partners

  • Prepare Documentation

  • Mentor junior engineers

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 10 years of experience in ASIC design

  • Citizen of United States only (not dual-citizenship)

WE VALUE

  • Significant experience developing Hardware, ASIC and FPGAs

  • Professional knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design tools: simulators, STA tools, synthesis, etc.

  • Knowledge of ASIC/FPGA Radiation Hardening techniques

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Experience technically managing people

  • On-site 3 of 5 days per week at Plymouth, MN facility
