Honeywell Supply Chain Manager - NBI HBT India in Pune, India

Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life

This position is overall responsible for overseeing and managing

company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order

to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. In addition, they play a

crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with

vendors and distributors. The Supply Chain

Manager will report directly to the India Mass Mid Segment –

Technical Leader and will be based in Pune.

Job Description: Supply Chain Manager

Responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations

Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams

Planning for timely availability of material

Releasing orders on the suppliers

Travelling and attending supplier issues and concerns.

Timely payments to vendors

Managing all service providers like FFD, Transporters, Courier agencies, CHA etc

Warehousing and distribution directly or through 3PL as per requirement

Determine key supply chain KPIs

Deploy robust processes and systems

Set up tracking system for material in transit and on time availability

Suggest solutions for process improvements

Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner

Train and evaluate others if required

Provide constructive feedback

Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors

Build and maintain good relationships with vendors

Manage all internal and external audits

Ensure 100% trade compliance and correction taxation as per land of the law

Should have good knowledge about the inco-terms, SCM related terms and conditions

Should be able work with minimum guidance;

Should be able to solve problems by seeking help from various functions

Research Supply chain analytics best practices across industry and discuss to implement them

Run Daily reports on the analytic solutions

provided (automate all such reporting work to concentrate on development


Previous working experience in Supply Chain Manager / Procurement / Logistics for 10 years

Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Graduate in SCM, Finance, or similar relevant field
