Honeywell Advanced Project Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace]. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Washington candidates: The salary range for this position is $115,000-$167,000K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading development teams in a new product development environment

  • Ensure project performance and execution

  • Managing customer relationships

  • Schedule and milestone development/management

  • Understand the technology employed on various programs

  • Develop program/project cost estimates

  • Baseline development

  • Program/project metric development and reporting

  • Variance analysis

  • Risk and opportunity development and management

  • Manage supplier relationships

  • Travel within US and/ or internationally may be required, < 10%

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

  • 5+ years industry experience

  • 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment

  • Demonstrated Earned Value Management (EVM) proficiency
