Honeywell Program Specialist II in Redmond, Washington

As a Program Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating various programs within the Building Automation (BA) business unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of programs and initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.

You will report directly to our Sr. Program Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location on a hybrid work schedule.

The annual base salary for this position is $88,600 - $111,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills as well as market and business considerations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of projects/programs from inception through completion. • Provide accurate forecasts for revenue, GM and resource requirements • Manage direct reports, cost, schedule, project billings, monitor estimate vs actual job performance • Assist the sales team in understanding and assessing customers' business objectives and strategies. • Support Sales team on surveys, application selection, and support in project documentation control. • Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes • Possess the ability to communicate technical concepts/solutions to internal and external customers; e.g. conducting site walks, accurately reviewing customer specs, and with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to achieve results. • Review professional proposals, including technical scope, commercial estimates, deliverables, schedules and terms and conditions, using technical features/functions. • Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow • Must have the ability to multi task and produce desired results in a deadline driven environment. • Work with estimating/engineering team, field technicians, sub-contractors/vendors and Solution Design Center to implement the project. Function as primary customer contact for project/program activities, leading project/program reviews • Effectively communicate compelling features and benefits of the solutions and services to sales team and customers. Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Associate Degree with 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience. • 1+ years of experience in HVAC Control systems AND knowledge of fire/security systems. • 1+ years experience estimating, selling, project implementation or an equivalent combination of experience and education. • 1+ year experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and experience leading projects. • Experience leading projects in Healthcare, industrial and commercial environment.

WE VALUE

• PMP certification. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related fields. • Experience in project or engineering management, implementation or an equivalent combination of experience and education. • The ability to understand application programming for HVAC control systems or fire / security systems. • Experience with documentation such as reports, submittals and drawings. • Security Systems Design and Application Experience. • Working knowledge of IT systems and Knowledge of fire and security products. • Able to read blueprints and drawings.
