THE POSITION

Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will participate in process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review of technical specifications

  • Develop project inspection & test plans

  • Review supplier procedures

  • Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings

  • Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies

  • Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers

  • Review inspection reports

  • Manage supplier quality issues

  • Participate in supplier qualifications & audit

  • Review of data books and packages

  • Expected 20% travel

  • Good understanding of problems and optimal solutions.

  • Manage multiple large-scale projects

  • Ability to resolve customer escalations

  • Understand internal /external customer

  • Evaluate & analyze supplier / fabricators / inspector issues

  • Suggests technical options / Develop new procedures / Specifications

  • Recognizes opportunities to make system improvements

  • Mentor and train QAQC Engineers

  • Contribute to QAQC Knowledge Management programs.

  • Including:

  • Brainstorm solutions

  • Continuous improvement

  • Coordinate resolution

  • Cost improvement analysis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Oil/Gas, Chemical, or Power Plant Projects

  • Project Quality Experience in supporting multiple suppliers and projects globally

  • Experience of large modular projects

  • Managing critical project customer communications

  • 15 years plus Core domain experience: Quality Assurance Quality Control,

PREFERRED

  • AWS CWI certification

  • Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1

  • Manufacturing experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers

  • Site / shop experience with structural steel and piping fabrication

  • Knowledge in AWS

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willingness to learn new technologies

  • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work

  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects & communications with International UOP offices based in Asia, US & Europe.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs
