Apply machine learning and AI techniques in the context of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) problems in aviation
Participate in data analytics, algorithm development, system designing, prototyping, system integration, modeling and simulationactivities
Generate patents, publish papers at leading research forums, on research at the intersection of HCI and machine learning
Follow and study the state-of-art research and developments in machine learning research applied to cognitive and HCI problems
Develop and grow intelligent user interface development capabilities within organization
Collaborate across organization to share best practices
Ph.D. in Artificial intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statististic or related technical field, with a focus on HCI problems
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience developing HCI-focused ML technologies.
Experience with processing and modeling sensor data from human users.
Proven experience in publishing peer-reviewed papers.
Ability and interest to track deep learning research on a daily or weekly basis, strong ability to translate paper descriptions to working code.
Familiarity with the Python ML ecosystem: Numpy, Jupyter, OpenCV, PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow, Matplotlib.
Strong Python development skills using standard machine learning packages.
Experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, Bayesian modeling, and other statistical machine learning approaches .
Experience in working with Linux, Jupyter notebooks, real-time SW development, potentially simulation environments (e.g. Gazebo)
Strong communication and collaboration skills (very strong oral and written English skills, especially with over-the-phone communication).
Ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
Self-motivated, highly ambitious, out of the box thinking.
