You will report directly to our Sr Director ISC Operations of Environmental and Energy Solutions (ESS).
In this role, you will impact the success and growth of our company. With your experience and expertise in managing chemical plant operations, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of our tolling plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. Your ability to develop and execute strategies to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs will contribute to the overall productivity and profitability of the company. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and resolve complex operational challenges. Your deep knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems will ensure compliance and uphold our commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and oversee all aspects of tolling plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and improve operational performance
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and customer demands
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of managers and employees
Maintain tolling strategy aligned with ESS business leaders to ensure adequate capacity to meet volume demand.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize contract manufacturing operations, including supplier selection, performance management, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of contract manufacturing activities into the overall supply chain.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contract manufacturing capabilities, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, negotiating favorable terms and managing performance.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in contract manufacturing operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 8-10 years of proven experience in a leadership role within the chemical manufacturing industry
• In-depth knowledge of chemical plant operations, process optimization, and safety protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
• Experience in driving operational excellence and implementing lean manufacturing principles
