Join the team that is revolutionizing the UL Commercial Fire industry! The UL Life Safety Systems team within Honeywell’s Commercial Fire business is investing in technologies that are advancing the commercial fire alarm industry for the benefit of all stakeholders, from building occupants to system installers and service providers. We are seeking a new member of our team to lead the wireless and self-test device part of our portfolio.

This role is responsible for driving results from our Self-Test new product introduction (NPI) as well as ownership of an edge device portfolio critical to driving revenue and margin results. Offering includes industry leading hardware, integration of our unique software capabilities and the associated training, tech support, installation, and maintenance experience. Responsibility includes implementation of the product strategy (STRAP) to drive revenue, orders, and gross profit, by owning the products throughout their end-to-end lifecycle. You will partner with product management colleagues as well as the engineering, sales, and channel teams to develop tactical plans to consistently identify new business opportunities and manage them through successful implementation in the market.

Reporting directly to our Senior Director of Offering Management, you will be based in our St. Charles, IL location and work on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for revenue and margin associated with portfolio • Serve as product owner for product development and O&M investment executed via the UL Systems Release Train • Collaborate with fellow product managers and functional leaders (engineering, regulatory, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, program management) throughout CLSS and Honeywell Fire to implement product strategy • Conduct voice-of-customer (VOC) and market research to identify opportunities based on underlying needs of stakeholders including end users, installers and service providers, central stations, and other partners • Define requirements for new products and enhancements, for both hardware and software, integrating customer needs, regulatory compliance requirements, and the business strategy • Commercialize offerings, including SKU creation, pricing, and costing strategies; sales and technical support training; marketing and communication activities • Provide escalated product and technical support in coordination with engineering leaders and partners • Manage partnerships, including cross-company development activities, customer support, and escalations • Support sales processes and activities related to the portfolio • Actively participate in industry networking

You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • 4+ Years in product management • Experience with Industrial products and markets
