As a Fabricator Class 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the fabricated components, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Fabrication Supervisor and work out of our facility in St. Louis, Missouri on a regular on-site work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by utilizing your fabrication skills and expertise to produce high-quality components that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements
Operate various fabrication equipment and tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding machines
Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques
Perform quality checks on fabricated components to ensure they meet required specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any fabrication issues and ensure timely completion of projects

YOU MUST HAVE
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment operation
Ability to perform quality checks and ensure compliance with specifications
